Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Recurpot. By subscribing to or using Recurpot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Recurpot
Recurpot is a meal subscription and food supply platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Recurpot is a brand of Valueklip Limited (RC-7742793), a company registered in Nigeria.
2. Definitions
- Subscriber means any individual or organization that purchases or uses a Recurpot meal subscription.
- Meal Plan means a specific subscription package, such as Sorted, Ease, Steady, Settled, or Assured.
- Delivery Window means the timeframe within which a meal is scheduled to be delivered.
- Rollover means the carrying forward of an unused or skipped meal to a future delivery date.
- Vendor means an independent food vendor partnered with Recurpot to prepare meals.
- Delivery Partner means an independent delivery company or individual partnered with Recurpot to deliver meals.
- Third-Party Platform means any external platform used to receive, validate, process orders or process payments.
3. Eligibility and Accurate Information
To subscribe to Recurpot, you must be at least 18 years old, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By subscribing, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for promptly updating your information if it changes.
4. Third-Party Platforms
We use third-party platforms to receive, validate, and process orders and payments, including but not limited to Moniepoint, Flutterwave, and Paystack. Recurpot is not liable for any errors, delays, security issues, or other events that occur on third-party platforms.
5. Food Vendors and Delivery Partners
Recurpot partners with independent food vendors and delivery companies. We require all partners to adhere to our food safety and quality standards. Recurpot's role is to coordinate and oversee this network on your behalf.
6. Subscription Booking
All meal subscriptions must be booked at least 48 hours before the first scheduled delivery. Orders placed with less than 48 hours' notice may not be accepted or may be scheduled for the next available delivery window.
7. Meal Plans
The minimum subscription available is the Sorted plan, our 1-day meal plan. Additional plans of longer duration are available as published from time to time.
8. Menu Variety
We make reasonable efforts to offer a variety of menu options. However, we do not guarantee that a specific variety of menu items will always be available. Menu availability may vary based on vendor capacity, ingredient sourcing, and demand.
9. Skipping and Pausing Meals
- 2-Day and 3-Day plans: at least 24 hours' notice before the affected delivery.
- 5-Day, 7-Day, and 2-Week plans: at least 48 hours' notice.
- 1-Month and 2-Month plans: at least 1 week's notice.
- 1-Day plan (Sorted): skipping or pausing is not available.
Requests must be made through the official Recurpot contact channels listed in Section 18.
10. Meal Rollover
All meal plans (except where stated otherwise) come with a rollover option. Any unused or skipped meal will be rolled over to a future delivery date, even if the original subscription period has expired. Meals cannot be rolled over beyond 30 days of the initial expiry date. Any unused meal rolled over beyond 30 days will be priced at the current market rate, and additional payment may be required.
11. Cancellation and Refunds
At this time, Recurpot does not offer cancellation of an active subscription or refunds of any amount paid. All sales are considered final subject to the rollover provision in Section 10. Nothing in this section limits any statutory right you may have under applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.
12. Payment
Payment for subscriptions is made through third-party payment platforms, including Moniepoint, Flutterwave, and Paystack. For bulk orders beyond our standard plans, customers may contact us directly.
13. Delivery and Risk
Meals are delivered to the address you provide, within the delivery window communicated to you. Risk in a meal passes to you upon delivery. If you are unavailable to receive a delivery, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
14. Food Safety, Allergies, and Dietary Disclaimers
Recurpot requires its partner vendors to follow our food safety and quality standards. However, meals are prepared in facilities that may process common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and seafood. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or medical dietary requirement, you must disclose it accurately at the time of subscription. Diet-specific plans are not a substitute for individual medical advice.
15. Customer Conduct and Prohibited Uses
Subscribers agree to provide accurate delivery information, be reasonably available to receive meals, and use Recurpot's services only for lawful purposes. You may not resell meals without our written consent, misuse the skip/pause/rollover features, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent conduct.
16. Intellectual Property
The Recurpot name, logo, brand assets, website content, and related materials are the property of Valueklip Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
17. Suspension and Termination
Recurpot may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, provide false information, misuse features, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to make payment.

19. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Recurpot, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
Recurpot's services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recurpot's total liability shall not exceed the total subscription amount paid by the customer for the plan in question.
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Recurpot, Valueklip Limited, and our vendors and delivery partners harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your breach of these Terms.
23. Force Majeure
Recurpot shall not be liable for any delay or failure resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including fuel scarcity, industrial action, extreme weather, power outages, civil unrest, or government action.
24. Consumer Protection
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.
25. Dispute Resolution
25.1 Good Faith Negotiation
Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiation.
25.2 Mediation and Arbitration
If negotiation fails, disputes shall be referred to mediation, and if mediation fails, to binding arbitration.
25.3 No Court Proceedings
Except for actions to enforce an arbitration award or to seek injunctive relief, both parties agree not to bring a dispute before any court.
25.4 No Class Action
Disputes must be brought on an individual basis.
25.5 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
26. Notices
We may send notices to you using the contact information you provided at subscription.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
28. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
29. Assignment
Recurpot may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
30. Governing Language
These Terms are drawn up in English. Any translation provided is for convenience only.
31. Changes to These Terms
Recurpot may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Recurpot after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order details confirmed at the time of subscription, represent the entire agreement between you and Recurpot.
